**Females are priced lower because they do not get the same adult coloring as males and have slightly different needs as they grow. Female panther chameleons will require a lay bin with moist sand after they mature because, like chickens, they will lay eggs even if they have not been with a male. Â However, they are sweet and make amazing pets!
