• Upon arrival, transfer your silkworms to a larger, open-aired container. Place food and silks in the container. When you feed them, grate food directly on top of them. They will climb to the top leaving their poo behind. Grating food on top of the silks every day will ensure they stay in your container. You want your silks to get a lot of ventilation.

• Do not refrigerate your silkworms. This will kill them. Maintain them at room temperature up to 84 degrees.

• In a pinch, you can feed your silkworms grated carrot. They will turn an orange color, but are just as nutritious.
